The History Section dwells on the transition of classical music from samaveda to that in its present state. It mentions the various vocal forms since then and also gives a small preview of that.

The Talas section , describes about the various popular talas and highlights its beat structure. The Dances section elaborates about the seven basic dance forms of Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Kathakali, Odissi, Mohiniattam, Manipuri and Kuchipudi.

The Instruments section dwells about the characteristics of each instrument and briefly goes through its history.
